Promoting a free course on the forum, is it spam?

  • I was wondering if it is appropriate to, when after answering a question on this forum, to direct people to a free wp tutorial if I feel it will benefit them? Tks

  • impossible to answer without knowing the link and the nature of the course.

    ‘promoting’ – ‘after answering a question ‘ would possibly be spamming;

    linking to a free course if it is really useful as part of the answer, possibly not.

    (this my personal opinion – other members’ opinion on this matter might differ).
