Can't upload photos

  • Having never had any troubles uploading photos previous, and without my having altered a thing, I can now no loger upload photos to my blog – all I get is a message saying that the page I am looking for cannot be found.

    When I look on the Gallery section for that post, I can see the image there but its size is listed as 0x0

    Any ideas or suggestions?

  • Maybe something changed at your web host level?

    Also, try saving your permalinks again — Settings > Permalinks

    When you insert your image, does it not insert, but change your insertion popup window to be the ‘page not found’ message? Like the re-direct back to the blog isn’t working but it is still registering in your gallery that you are uploading files?

    I would try uploading all the WordPress files again, it sounds like something is missing.

    Thanks for the responses. Weirdly enough I can see the imagine in the media library and so even though the size was given as 0 x 0 and no option other than full size was given (full size being the 0 x 0) I tried attaching it and by golly it attached to the file.

    I don’t understand it.

    I’ve done nothing to change any settings; it’s been working like clockwork until yesterday.

    Did you contact your web host yet? maybe they changed something on their end…
