I’m new to running a wordpress blog, and unfortunatley the custom theme I have set it up with doesn’t show the author’s name, which is very frustrating. I googled and found some code to post into the index.php single.php and it still doesn’t show my (author’s) name on my posts.

So…I had to get a plugin, and I chose this one.

Trying to edit the plugin by hand is impossible for me, because it is a wall of hieroglyphics I do not even begin to understand.

When I make a post, the image inside the post forces the “posted by” and my name to be all smushed and messed up.

I’d also like to be able to remove “last revised by” and have it just display the date, thanks.

    Hi,

you can decided to hide revision date in the configuration page of the plugin easily.

Regarding your presentation issue, this is probably related to the CSS of your theme. Our plugin doesn’t do any styling at all. It only forces float breaks. Then, it’s up to you to style it with CSS in your stylesheets.
