[Plugin: FancyBox] Want to have post content show up in FancyBox

I’m creating a business site with thumbnails for products in a grid on a page. These thumbnails are actually posts with a TimThumb image. Click on one and a single page post pops up. Now…

My client wants to have a user click on the thumbnails and have the post show up on the same page, not going to another page and leaving the grid of products. I’m thinking of using FancyBox to display the content in a popup window since it looks sooooo nice, but I see that FancyBox only allows an image and it’s caption to be displayed.

How would I get actual post content to display in Fancybox? It would just be the photo, a post title and a very brief description of product features. The result would be that all the images of the post thumbnails would show up in FancyBox window, but with more details. Is this possible?
