    Hi Kent,

    The plugin will never intercept pingbacks or trackbacks – this used to be a bug was was fixed in version 2.4 of the plugin. Can you confirm that you’re using the latest version of the plugin as well as WordPress?

    Note however that Akismet does check trackbacks and it will put them in the spam folder if it thinks they are spam. maybe this is the behaviour you are seeing?

    ok, I’m using the last version of your plugin. Then akismet may learn from the whitelisted trackback thus never ban it again. I’ll be watching it closely.
