    Hi

I am installing the plugin on a new WP install and I’m getting the following error when I go to the Add Event Page. Everything else seems to be working. I can format the pages, change pages and slugs and can see the pages formatted as expected.

Warning: array_key_exists(): The second argument should be either an array or an object in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/112942/webspace/httpdocs/iansiegal/wp/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/classes/em-event-posts-admin.php on line 99 Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/112942/webspace/httpdocs/iansiegal/wp/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/classes/em-event-posts-admin.php on line 114 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/112942/webspace/httpdocs/iansiegal/wp/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-list-table.php on line 664 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/112942/webspace/httpdocs/iansiegal/wp/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-list-table.php on line 664 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/112942/webspace/httpdocs/iansiegal/wp/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-posts-list-table.php on line 482 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/112942/webspace/httpdocs/iansiegal/wp/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-posts-list-table.php on line 482 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/112942/webspace/httpdocs/iansiegal/wp/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-posts-list-table.php on line 482

I’m not new to Event manger and I have done numerous installs in the past but have not seen the above error. Your guidance is very much needed and will be appreciated.

    Thank you

Forgot to add that I have disabled all other plugins to check if there is a plugin conflict. Still the same.

how about using wp default theme?

The site is live. It is very difficult to change themes.

I forgot to ask if this is on admin dashboard ? and how about replicating the site to your local install?

I got the error when I go to the Events and Locations submenus under the Event menu section of WP menu on the Dashboard. See the screengrab here.

I have to replicate the set-up on a non-live install to diagnose this issue further but I wanted to check here first if it is something that is known or you could advice me to try other things besides changing the theme? I install Event Manger all the time and never had any issues like that. In fact I installed it on a site after I made this post and everything went smoothly. I had the whole event system up and running in a couple of hours. Have a look:

All thanks to your hard work.

I’ll have a look at fixing those first two warnings. Not sure if they’ll fix the other ones, but if they don’t you’d need to try this with the default theme to rule out the theme.

to get the errors to disappear, you can disable php errors (recommended anyway), but there may be a bigger problem since your list is empty, and could be theme related.

To be sure it is nothing to do with my settings. I have reset EM using the admin tools. I still get the same error.

There are no events nor locations listed on the dashboard, but events that I had created/edited before started to get the error are displayed on the events page and the locations page showing the locations.

I can grant you temp admin access to the site if that is of any help.

Will uninstall delete the pages created by reset and clean the Em related entries in the DB? Maybe I should try that and do a fresh install?

The theme author sent me a new file and it solved the problem. It was indeed a theme issue.

Once again many thanks for your help. I hope you have understood why I was hesitant to change the theme of a live site and had to check all other avenues before resorting to a major effort.

am going to marked this as resolved.
