[Plugin: All-in-One Event Calendar] Blog menu item not highlighted for blog posts

Hi my site has a .blog.brandandwebdesign.com sub directory install with a different version of my theme installed. my other pages are all on https://www.brandandwebdesign.com

So my BLOG page is not an actual static page because then it couldn’t be the blog feed. So i left the BLOG install pageless and it contains only my posts. This works for the BLOG holding page but once you click on a post the menu item BLOG becomes un-highlighted.

How can i highlight the BLOG menu item when the posts are loaded?
