• Any help much appreciated….

I would like to add a wrapper div around the page div so that I can add a full width background image and extend the footer to be full width too (i.e. the same size as the wrapper div).

I’ve tried adding it to index.php to no avail. Or shd I be adding something to functions.php?

I know I can set the background img of body in the css, but then, how would I make the footer background full width?

If anyone understands my ramblings, I sure could use some help!

    Thanks

  • To add another full page wrapper, you’d need to edit the header.php (opening div here) and footer.php (closing div here) files.

    Aha! Thanks WPyogi.

I think I’m gonna give up on Twenty Eleven though and head on back to Thematic…
