• I want to have a wordpress site with sub-directories, so I can use them to put different content.

    Example:
Sub-directories: 3 cities with different menus

    URL Paths:
    – New York = https://www.domain.com/new-york/
    – Miami = https://www.domain.com/miami/
    – Orlando = https://www.domain.com/orlando/

Every time, I want to add a PAGE or POST, I would like to have the option to put it on which ever the city I want. And to be able to change the main menu or side-bar widgets on each city.

The main point is that the visitor will choose which city to look at.

Is it possible in the same installation of wordpress. Or will I need to use a Multisite?

Please advice and what will be the procedure.

    Thank you very much.

    Two best options.

    1) Custom Post-Types, with heavily customized theme pages for each CPT.

    2) Multisite.

Multisite, once you get it set up, would be ‘easier’ in that the themes/widgets are easier to segregate, but it really depends on your comfort and skill level.

    Hello Ipstenu,
I don’t mind following any of the options as long as it works.

For option 1, is there a template that I could use to have different theme layouts including main menu and side bar?

If so, do you think this will be a good option?
    Thank you
