Picture Hyperlink Not Working

  • Hey! Tbank you in advance for checking this out. I recently encountered a problem hyperlinking images on the site Fierth.com . It seems that when an image is added and a url is hyper-linked to it , the link will not load . WordPress will only dsplay a flash style clock and do nothing, Regular text links will work correctly . Any ideas as to why this is happening ?

    Hi, what theme are you using, is it a child theme of a theme that you modified? it seems you are missing some .. code, give us the above info to see if we can figure out what went wrong and how to fix it.

    Also it seems you have some javascript that tries to run when you click on a hyperlink.

    Thanks again ! I am currently using the Periodic theme from {here]. The theme i am using is the actual non-child theme. I just attempted to upgrade it to the latest release but the same problem occurs. I have tried also to deactivate all of the widgets on the site and one by one reactivate but it has not yielded any fixes or clues yet.

    On the linked page you have :
    “Test Image Link to Google.com”
    Under that it’s a picture of a clown with a hyperlink to google that one works, if you want to open the link in a new tab with chrome it works for me. If I only click on the picture then a javascript/jquery tries to load.
    Also you are using a premium theme that has support, try to contact theme for help with this, the users from these forum doesn’t have access to the premium theme and would be harder for as to help you.

    I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.
