Are spiders able to index password-protected posts?

  • Hi.. newbie here.. I have tried searching the forums for a similar question, but was unable to locate one, hence this post.

    I hope someone can help me out with this… if bots are still able to get at the data, then how should I edit my robots.txt to exclude them?
