How to get an old article again at the beginning?

  • I tried with sticky post but this doesnt work, it remains where it is. Probably because of the elderly date.
    Of course I could post it again, but is there an easier way? Thanks for any help!

  • what theme are you using?

    ‘sticky’ should work independant from the post date; however your theme might be overwriting the sticky behaviour.

    is that post to stay on the front for ever?

    Thanks, yes, this could be the reason, sticky behaviour is overwritten. I felt there is something not right when activating “sticky post” and it didnt work. I’m using a Genesis child theme and here it might be getting complicated. Probably only the programmer of that theme can know?
    Or is it just a simple piece of code to be added somewhere at functions.php?
