WP-Admin won't send me my password

  • It’s been a while since I logged into WP and I can’t remember my password. My email address is still the same. When I go to mysite.com/wp-admin and click “Lost Password” I enter my email address and it says it’s sending me an email with a link to a password reset. I have tried entering both my username and my email address. I have done this about 5 times and have waited several hours. I have checked junk mail both in my account and in my Mail program. There is nothing. What am I doing wrong? How do I get access to my site?

    Oh my goodness! I’m leaving this here unless anyone else googles this question and is also an idiot. ??

    Google has separate folders for Spam and Junk (?!). So while I had been checking the Junk folder, the reset email was in the Spam folder. ??
