RSS Feed Customization internal or external of the site

  • I’m looking for a plugin or something similar that will let me customize feeds accordingly to how I want them displayed. Such as putting a javascript code on my site so people can use it on their own site and then get a direct feed of posts in a specific category or just the general site.

    Basically, a plugin or code that will let me know easily distribute my content to other webmasters that want to use my content.

    Anyone know of something like this or would be interested in creating it?

    I’m looking for a plugin to do it because I do not like to depend on another site being up just for the functionality of mine. I want to get a plugin to do it so I have full control over it and can make it is always up.

    Thank you for the suggestion though.

    edit: I’m looking for something that is most likely going to be a javascript, but could be a php script. I am looking for something to be self-hosted.

    Heh, I was going to suggest FeedBurner, which already has what you want. Just activate it, and send the JavaScript to people.

    I was hoping to get something seemless and self-hosted, but I think I will just revert and use Feedburner. Thanks.
