• Hello, I’m new to WordPress, so apologies if this is a dumb question, but I’d like to have a Photo Gallery, but instead of Adding Images to a specific gallery, I’d just like to upload an Image and Tag it. Then, when someone’s on my Site they can view Images by Tag, so, for example, 1 Photo could be tagged ‘Concert Photos’ and the same photo could be tagged 2012. If a User selected either of these Tags from a Gallery Page, the photo would show up under either heading. If anyone uses Windows Live Photo Gallery, it would work like that. Is there a way to do this in WordPress, or is there a Plugin that anyone could suggest? I’m a bit exasperated looking for the right Image plug-in, but maybe I’m not searching for the right thing, or maybe WordPress can do this out-of-the-box?
Thanks for any feedback or suggestions.
    Brian

In native WP, you can upload a picture per post, tag the post, and use that.

Thank you for your reply. If, however, I add 1 picture per Post (or even several), if someone were to click a Tag, I assume they’d just get a summary of Posts that contain those images?

What I would like is that if there are 26 images all tagged ‘Concert Photos’, then when someone clicks that Tag, all 26 images would be laid out on the screen (perhaps in Thumbnail view, eg, 3 per Row x 9 Rows). A user could then click the Thumbnail to see a large version of the image and could then click each image to scroll through those 26 images.

    Does that make sense?

Many thanks for any further consideration or advice. ??

Ah, that makes sense. There may be a plugin that does that, but its not native ??
