    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

You should only need to add the Shortcode from WP-PostRatings into your table, as far as I can see.

    Hi,

sure, no problem. If it does not work, we will need to investigate this further.

    Hi,

I have the same question. I tried using the short codes [ratings] as well as [ratings id=”1″]. Both do not give the desired solution. Do you have a solution?

    Hi,

can you explain what you are getting instead of the desired result?
Can you maybe post the URL to the page with the table?

    Regards,
    Tobias

What I would I like to have on my site is a database of international street photographers. Each row would contain a name, description, link, and preferably a rating of this photographer.

    For example: https://www.straatfotografie.nl/wiki

I would like visitors to be able to rate each photographer, and sort on this rating.

Also, I noticed that URLs are not automatically linked.

    Hi,

    ok, thanks for the description.

Unfortunately, your link is not working for me. Is this really a published page?

And: Is the Post Ratings plugin working as expected if it is not used in a table, i.e. in the regular page content?

About the URLs: Yes, that is expected. You can however achieve this with a “Plugin Extension”, see https://tobias.baethge.com/2009/12/extension-1-url-to-link-conversion/

    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Sorry the page was a concept, it is now published. The rating plugin is working as expected, but I’m sure if multiple ratings on one page are supported.

    Hi,

oh, sorry, I don’t know about that either ?? It might work if you change the ID in the rating Shortcode, so that each photographer has its own ID.
Now, as the ratings plugin was designed for post ratings, this might not work though, in which case there’s nothing that I can do ??

Oh, and one more thing: I recommend that you uncheck the “Cache Table Output” checkbox on the table’s “Edit” screen, to be sure that the ratings update when the page is viewed again.

it seems the rating part is having design issues

Thanks Tobias, I guess I need to work out a different solution.

    Hi,

yeah, sounds like it. I don’t have experience with rating plugins unfortunately, so let’s hope that there is one that does what you need.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
