[Plugin: WordPress Mobile Pack] WordPress Mobile Link Issue

  • I have a site recently migrated to WordPress. I have installed the WP Mobile Pack and have two rather serious problems. On the full site (garfieldsuiteshotel.com) there are links to a third party page for Reservations https://booking.ihotelier.com/istay/istay.jsp?HotelID=3624&LanguageID=1. These are working as expected.

    The Mobile Plug in is pointing incorrectly to a different link, garfieldsuiteshotel.com/reservations. I cannot find the proper file to modify this link code so the mobile site properly points to the above referenced page.

    I would also like to remove the “Recent Posts” from the mobile site’s home page and have the mobile site Default to the full site’s home page copy and links (which can be seen on the mobile version if you click on the “Read More” tag. This is probably a fairly easy change, but I cannot find the proper file(s) and code snippet to modify.

    Any and all help on these two matters is most appreciated! The Reservation link issue is rather critical. TIA!

    Yes. Support for this plug in is atrocious. I have found that WP plug ins for mobile are all generally very flaky. Next year I plan on once again migrating my bigger sites away from WP to a solution which better fits dyanamic viewing environments. I had hoped this seemingly simple combination of WP and this plug in would suit my needs but it has been a great disappointment and no solutions and/or “experts” are available.
