[Plugin: Business Directory Plugin] WordPress Newbie

I installed this plugin and added a Submit Listings page with this code “[WPBUSDIRMANADDLISTING]”. But when I submit the listing, after hitting submit no listings is found either in the admin panel nor in any of the database table. Is it broken?

I am using WordPress 3.3.2
Business Directory Plugin Version 2.0.3

There was a bug in 2.0.3. You should upgrade to 2.0.4 and try it again. This has been resolved and is much easier in the new version.

I updated it to the 2.0.4, but still I am facing the same issue. I tried adding a new listing through admin panel directly and through user account also. But after submission, I do get any message of success/error. Also, I have resetted all the customization I did earlier, but still it did not work for me.

It would help if you could post a screenshot of what you see before and after submission. Also, is it the same whether you post from the admin side vs. the user side?

I installed your plugin but I cannot get the the shortcode where I can get Register, Login etc like it is there on top of your page https://businessdirectoryplugin.com. I have checked your entire documentation but cannot find it.

Hi Tina,

That “Register/Login” part is not coming from BD, but rather, BuddyPress. If you want that, you’d need to install BP.

With that said, I don’t like BuddyPress very much and will be migratng off of it soon. So your mileage may vary. ??

Ok, Got it. But please can you tell me how can I add basic Register code for new members to signup?

To be honest, I don’t know. ?? The BuddyPress setup I have was done by someone else and I’m tearing it out now. The BuddyPress forums would probably be a better place to ask.
