Install via FTP FileZilla leads to 404 message

Hi

I have wordpress successfully installed on another domain (same hosting account).
I’ve uploaded the files and when I type in the url I get the 404 file not found message.

Am I doing something insanely stupid that is so obvious or is there a step I’ve missed out that I should already know. (have reached the ultimate frustration level…)
