WPtouch Pro and qTranslate

    It’s too bad they don’t work together. I’m not a pro user. I would like to buy the pro version, but I’m never going to do that unless I can first get qtranslate and wptouch to work together. I know they are currently incompatible (using the latest versions of both). If I leave both activated, wptouch displays the default settings, no matter what I change in the backend.

    As soon as qtranslate is deactivated, wptouch works as it should. Reactivating qtranslate once again displays the default wptouch settings when visiting with an iPhone.

    The free version of WPtouch and WPtouch Pro are built differently to accommodate different levels of site needs. One is not merely an extension of the other.

    One of our customers built and shared a plugin to enable WPtouch Pro and qtranslate to play nicely together. The link is available in our customer forums or directly from a support team member. So if you do decide to give WPtouch Pro a try, be sure to take advantage of the resources available to you.
