what is the name of carousel you have created?

please change its name from properties to anything else because you have already a div with id properties ..

after changing its name i think it should work

I created a new one and gave it a different name, but it still displays vertical. I also added a second one and they are both displaying vertical, and both have vertical set to false in settings.
