My media library has dissapeared

I have just noticed today that the media option is missing from my dashboard menu which means I cannot get into my media library that way.

Does anyone know how I could have lost this, is it possible that a plugin (I do have one that has taken up the position of the media option) can over ride an already used menu option?

I’m a bit lost on it
