I like it, pretty and readable.

The floated article images (featured images?) are escaping their containers in Chrome though.

Looks nice but I don`t think that Cloud search is the right way to go for a comercial site.
This is more suitable for a news/forum site where visitors come to see whats new and whats popular.

When buying a product or looking for product reviews, visitor tend to be very “mission oriented” and other factor – like popularity – are just irelevant, if not distracting.

This large space can be better used for a commercial or “About Us” itroduction.

Also this will be better for SEO. (Text > Link Cloud).
