• Hi,

I’d like to fetch feeds from my WordPress /blog/ onto my main site (which is not using WordPress).

    This is straightforward : https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Integrating_Wordpress_with_Your_Website
Our site however has several languages and we need WordPress to also be available in those languages, so the best solution seems like to use https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Create_A_Network – a Network of sites such as ourdomain.com/blog/ – for the UK version – and ourdomain.com/blog/de/ – for the German version, etc.

However, WordPress (the above link) says “These directions will not work on a MultiSite Network.”, but offers no solution to actually make it work.

My solution at the moment is to build a custom feed or read the RSS feeds per site and take the data that I need, onto my main site. Has anyone done this before or have any tips on whether to use the blog’s /blog/feed/ or an alternate custom-built approach? Note that I also use custom fields but the /blog/feed/ seems to return custom fields as well, so it looks fine, except it returns way more data than I actually need so I’d like to have a solution to ‘fetch’ only the fields that I need.

    Many thanks!

You can still fetch feeds from sites. It’s going to be /blog/feed/, same as single site.

The ‘best’ solution is to use WordPress all the way through, and have it manage your main site. If you can’t do that, RSS is the second best.
