Meteor Slider didnt fit to my homepage

    I’m a totally noob for bloging.
    I’m using a responsive theme and put a meteor-slider plugin inside.
    But i didnt understand why my image didnt fit the whole page.

    I did set the setting inside the plugin to 900px x 600px for width and height. And i did resize my image to that size. But the appearance doesnt seem right.

    Any idea ?
