[Plugin: Events Manager] Events cannot span more than 1 day

When we try to create an event that spans more than 1 day, we can select a start date and an end date, but after publishing the event, the end date reverts back to the start date.
So for now, if we have a 3 day event, we have to create 3 separate events.
