Smooth Slider is not sliding

  • Since i started using wordpress, i’v enever gotten the smooth slider plugin to work on any of my website and i really don’t kno what could be the problem. After intsalling and pasting the code in the “index.php” file, it just lists the featured posts all at once without sliding. It does not have any css formatting at all. Pls i need help from professionals because it has been like this for more than a year now. What could be the cause of this.

    Btw, i did not do any wordpress or plugin upgrade. This is a new wordpress and smooth slider installation i’m talking about.

    I just tried the smooth slider plugin with the TwentyTen wordpress theme and it worked. So, i want to believe there probably a setting that enables it to work that’s not present on my custom theme. Does anyone know what could be missing in my theme.
