• I just downloaded 3.4 and when I go to add a new post the template is now missing and the word color is now white so it can not be viewed unless I highlight it… What is going on? Can anyone help? How do I go back to the old version where my site was running perfectly?????

It is coming up quite nicely. What color do you want on a black background so that people can read?

I’m not having the issue on my actual site. I’m having it on my dashboard. In my add-new post the template is gone and the word color is white. I can only view what I have written by highlighting all the text.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

no. none of this seemed to have worked. how to I go back to my old version of wordpress?

Can we see your site using the Twenty Eleven theme with all plugins deactivated?
