After checking out, the user is directed to the membership confirmation page. If you want people to go somewhere else, you can write code that hooks into the “wp” hook, checks $post->ID, and redirects the users to where they want to be.

The user’s current level will be in $current_user->membersghip_level->id if you need to go to different pages depending on level.

When user click on Login link (bottom of the article), they will be redirected to their profile page. But instead we need to take him back to this article again after login. Is there a way to achieve this?

Theme My Login has modules to control where users go when they sign in. “Referring page” is one of the options I believe:
