Podpress passwords causing failure

This is a followup to my previous post. I thought none of my podcasts were working following the wp and podpress upgrades, but it turns out the only issue is password protection. Anything password protected will not show the audio player, but will only show the words

[display_podcast]

the files are

(this is the file with password protection. The password is HELP)
and

(this is the exact same file with no password protection.

(BTW, Mika is a good person who responded to me and the file attached is not personal but rather a public lecture on a different topic.)

I have literally hundreds of client files here, and know that clients come back to this page to relisten or redownload their private files. I’m already getting emails from folks who can’t access their files. I sure hope someone can help.
