[Plugin: Facebook] Warning: URL is Unreachable

I’m having the exact same problem. I also noticed that if I try to “send” a post on Facebook, I get the same warning like:

“The page at URL could not be reached.”

Please paste URLs that exhibit this issue. Thanks

Yep. I hope they respond soon. I’m just going to deactivate all of my social networking stuff until this can be resolved.

This post is saying that “The page at URL could not be reached” when I try to use the “Send” button. It also is displaying the “Warning: https://restoringtruthiness.org/14844/pander-and-hope is unreachable” under the Comments Box. This article went out today.

This one isn’t showing the Comment’s Box but it’s not having any problem with the “Send” button. It does have “Likes” but the likes aren’t showing for some reason. Only the subscriptions are showing. And just so you know, it’s is a much older article than the first one.

And there is no “Subscribe” button on the https://restoringtruthiness.org/14844/pander-and-hope post like there should be.

I’m seeing a similar error message here in the bottom right corner.

Just a note that might help: Your pages and posts must be *public* for this sort of thing to work properly. Facebook, like Google, will load your site themselves and try to get information from it. You can’t do sharing and such on a private post or a private blog.

“Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the Application configuration. It must match one of the Connect or Canvas URLs or domain must be the same as or a subdomain of one of the Application’s base domains.”

Did you check that the URLs entered in your app settings are correct? They should all point to https://yeahthatskosher.com.

Otherwise we cannot fix your issue.

Just disable the other Facebook plugins that you have and this will work.

I don’t any buttons “down under the comments”. I clicked on the other buttons and all of them work, though.

I’m not sure what the cause of this is. I didn’t change anything. But, where it says “Facebook Social Plugin” is where it said it before. ALSO, when it says this, my share and like buttons do not share and like the page correctly and only post the link on facebook instead of with details.

Try it again, and hit refresh a few times to see if you can get it to replicate the issue. I wouldn’t have posted on here about it if I wasn’t having a problem. I don’t know why it is working and not working on its own agenda…makes no sense, unless it was something that you guys found on your end and fixed already?

I’m not sure– I can’t reproduce. We were having some issues last night that may have caused it.
