[Plugin: Email Before Download] Download not counting from emailed link

    Hi greendezine,

    Thanks for your interest in our plugin and the question.
    It looks like this might be a browser related issue. Since counting is working fine in Chrome and Internet Explorer but fails in Firefox. We also tested the original links (shortcuts) from WordPress Download Monitor, like [download id=”123”] and the result is the same. Could you test that on your side too?

    Thanks for replying to my post. I did some more tests, and appears that the download count is working from the email link. I just had to mask my IP in order to test it from the same computer.

    I’m excited to put the plugin to use now that I know it’s working!

    btw, the count is working fine in Firefox too, version 13 at least.
