[Plugin: Tabify Edit Screen] WordPress SEO Yoast

I looked into the issue. I did notice that WordPress SEO changed how it loads files. Since WordPress SEO 1.2.3 my plugin can’t autodetect the metabox anymore.

About the error that is something I need to look into this week. It seems the option of this plugin has gone corrupted. I’m also hoping to add more fixes/features.

Anyway as I told you a while ago, it doesn’t occur any function trouble. So Its just a wrong display I can use normally the website ^^

If I want develop a wordpress Plugin I think you should be the right person for that ??

looking in my current release code you shouldn’t see the notice in the develop version ?? You get the error because the tab is empty.

I experience a bit different issue with WordPress SEO From Yoast vs. Tabify Edit Screen – SEO Yoast doe snot appear on the elements’ list under Tabify Edit Screen’s setting page – I cannot assign it to a new tab. Then if I leave it as is, the SEO options appear under all tabs.

Any hint how to fix that?

It is the same issue. It is fixed but I need to add/change some code first.

It’s basically the fault of Yoast by doing the lazy loading of his files wrong. So I have it working now in my plugin but I can see that I will remove the code since I’m not going to fix always the mistake of other developers

Thanks for your quick reply. Not sure I may expect a fix? I totally understand your irritation, nevertheless this is one of the most important plugins for WP. I used other SEO plugins but none of them can compete with…

Also, maybe it’s a good idea to drop them an email, too? Maybe they’re not aware of the issue.

I was planning to release the fix last week but I’m hoping to release it some where next week.

WordPress SEO from Yoast isn’t by far the most important plugin for WP. It’s a handy plugin but it has way to much features in it.

Hi Marko, it doesn’t work anymore. The Yoast SEO metabox appears on every tab. I know it’s probably not your plugins fault, but do you think there’s a workaround?

I change the behavior because it’s not fault to fix and fixing it for plugin authors isn’t the solution. Since it can break my plugin and maybe even the site.

However you can add a filter to enable it. I also mentioned that in the FAQ:
add_filter( ‘tabify_plugin_support’, ‘__return_true’ );
