Use permalinks instead of URL for sharing buttons

How do I make sure that each button uses the article permalink, rather than the URL of the page it is on. I am having trouble testing my sharing buttons (e.g. facebook) where it is sharing my website URL instead of the actually article itself. I have a youtube video within my post (article) and when I press the share button below that post I want it to share whats in the article (youtube video).
