Pinterest and Twitter Plug-Ins

I just installed the Pinterst (Pin It Button) and Twitter plug ins but do not see the icons/buttons. According to the “details,” it would show at each post. How do I have them appear? I also had installed the Facebook (like button) plug in. I had pressed “like” on a recent post and then went to FB to see if it would show what I recently liked but it did not show up as a “like” in FB. Did I forget to do something?
