[Plugin: Wysija Newsletters] Scheduled Posts will not trigger Newsletter to be sent.

    I setup an automatic newsletter scheduled to send new posts every morning and 6am and I have my scheduled posts setup to auto publish at 5am. These posts do no get sent as part of the newsletter.

    I, at first, thought it might because the site is very slow and wp-cron was not being triggered so I setup cron job to manually trigger the wp-cron every 15 minutes.

    Is this a bug, feature, or simply not supported yet?

  • Hello Steven,

    If you’ve setup a daily automatic newsletter then there should be any no difference between scheduled posts and standard posts.

    Are you sure your auto newsletter is active? It should show on the newsletter listing highlighted in blue.

    Let me know.

    If it’s not the case, we might need to have a look at it from your site.

    The auto newsletter is definitely active. I’ll submit a ticket.

    Version 2.0.4 resolved this issue for me.
