Comments Appearing Before Approval

  • Again, I’m new to coding this, but have been using WordPress for a while.

    Friend’s WordPress was just upgraded. Before when I made a comment, I could not see the comment until it was approved by the administrator. Now I can see my comment with the waiting for approval.. but no one else will see this? Just wondering if it’s a new feature.

  • Go to Dashboard > Settings > Discussion to set the comments to appear after approval or in whatever way you want by checking your preferred options and saving the settings.
