[Plugin: Nmedia MailChimp Widget] Configuration changes not be saved & fields not copied from Ma
-
After I have entered the configuration details and clicked the save buttons all works well while I am working within that session that day.
Come back the next day to complete some work and the configured data is no longer there and has to be re-entered. Including the phrase on the submit button.
The only data that was configured in was the api key and the submit button as the confirmation follow ups were sent from mailchimp.
Yes I have clear the cache within my browser and completed the process with the same results.
The other problem we are encountering is that of setting up of the forms within N-media.
When setting up of the form via n-media on several occasions we were unable to add more than 5 fields and the only way to complete the process was to go into Mail Chimp and set up the form there. This was especially true when we tried to set up the address fields.
The problem with setting up the form within MailChimp was that fields did not transfer over the same characteristics. For example the date field – within mailchimp the date field is marked out with ___/____/_____ and a drop down calendar to chose the date. Within n-media it is a blank box. Therefor it is necessary to change the title of the box to show ie: Birthday mm/dd/yyyy
Another example is of the address field. In mailchimp it has all the data of the address: 2 address boxes for the street address, box for the city, box for the state/prov, box for the country and a box for the zip or postal code all included in one large box. In n-media there is only one box. If the address is registered as a required entry then you can never complete the form on your site if you used the short-codes from n-media.
Do you have any suggestions on how to fix these problems?
Thanks
Brian
