I’m new at this, and I am very confused as to why I am getting this issue. I haven’t changed much other than the starting steps that the ‘tour’ tells me to do. When I type in https://www.ericbohnphotography.com, it goes to https://www.ericbohnphotography.com/Eric_Bohn_Photography/Home.html and displays the title and banner that I set up, but below that it shows “This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it? It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help.” Any help would be much appreciated; also, I’ve googled similar issues and saw that most say to make sure I make my first post, which I have done, with the same issue.
    Thanks in advance.

  • I have the same problem I go to my website at https://lunaverse.com.au/ and it says on the main page “This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it? It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help.”
yet I can make posts and I have been able to change title and subheading, yet I have no idea why it thinks the page is not found.
This site is a subdomain but it is a fresh install the DNS are pointed correctly.
    any ideas?
p.s the post above doesn’t seem to address the issue at all. Maybe a more direct link would help.

    Cheers.

@zakateca: yeah I’ve looked all through the above link and could not find a solution. there were a few things I hadn’t done yet, but still have the same issue after doing so.

Not sure how, but the problem seems to be solved. All I did was change to the “Small Biz’ theme, then back to ‘Twenty-Eleven” and now the home page seems to be working. I will mark this as resolved.
@zakateca, hopefully this solves your problem as well.
