Comments disapper when editing from admin panel

Hi,
What theme are you using? it disappears from front-end only or from back-end as well? can you check your database to see the difference between a non-edited comment and an edited comment to check what fields are changed by your editing?

@jnhghy i’m using a custom made theme but problem exists also on others. yes, comment missing from both back & front-ends after edit.

check the database, I think is the fastest way to see what field is causing this issue

@jnhghy now i’m up to checking my DB. let you know what’s in it.

@jnhghy just check the DB, there is no special difference between an edited comment & unedited one. only difference is comment is missing comment_content after edit.

You can try reinsatlling wp-admin to see if you have errors in that one..
Overwrite wp-admin using ftp … and check if the issue is fixed

@jnhghy tried pal, no luck even upgrade to the latest version.

Try to deactivate all plugins and revert to Twenty Eleven theme to see if the problem is related to your theme. Activate and deactivate plugins one by one to see if the problem is caused by any plugins. Also note that even inactive plugins can create problems.
