Present content from page at first page

  • When I do theme modifications and development I usually prefer to customise the start page. But I still want to keep it dynamic so the user can control certain parts of the content.

    I have looked in to different solutions like to dedicate a widget area, or to read from whatever page that got the title “Home” but none of them feels ideal.

    How do you other guys do out there?
