[Plugin: Gravity Forms Custom Post Types] Upload image to media library

I am using Gravity Fields + Custom Post Types along with Advanced Custom Fields, which works well except for one thing.

I’d like there to be an image custom field which instead of just attaching the media to the page (which is invisible in the admin) it sets a custom field to the ID of the attached media, this would then work with ACF to show a thumbnail and the option to switch, etc.

Is this possible?
