    Hi,

I am new to WordPress and new to this forum. First of all, I love this slide generator. It is exactly what I am looking for, very neat, clean, and simple. It is installed and works. However, when each image is displayed, there is a dark gray slide that covers 2/3 to 3/4 of the image. You can still see the image, but it looks as if a polarizing filter has been placed over the majority of the image. Any ideas as to what is causing this?

    Thanks!
    Jim

    Hi Jim,

The gray slide that overlaps your slides actually is the description box. I’ve seen more people getting confused by the terrible appearance of it.

The best solution for now is to adjust the slideshow settings to not show the title and description, making the box disappear.

Version 2.0.0 (which has yet to be released) will give you more control over the description box’s behaviour, although it will already be a lot more subtle by default.

    Regards,
    Stefan
