[Plugin: Joomla/Mambo To WordPress Migrator] No chance to migrate

I’m having the same problem — I’m on Joomla 1.5.23, and WP 3.4.1. The users migrate no problem — but the content refuses to go. I’m using the most recent version of the plugin, downloaded today.

Same problem wp 3.4.1 and j2wp migrator 1.7.1

The problem comes with content.. it stops at special characters.

I have a utf8_general_ci collation in my joomla database and latin1_swedish_ci in the wp DB.

think I tried every possible option in the migrator settings.. and it stills breaks content in special characters .
