Brocken upgrade from 1.0 to snapshot Jan-07

  • Uprading from 1.0 to tonight snapshot don’t run :((
    Fatal error: Failed opening required ‘ABSPATHwp-includes/wp-db.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in/home/httpd/html/user/wpress/wp-settings.php on line 24
    I hardcode require (‘wp-includes/… in the wp-settings.php file… and the upgrade was then OK..; but now I have an horrible error message on my home :
    Warning: Failed opening ‘ABSPATHwp-comments.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in/home/httpd/html/user/wpress/index.php on line 57
    I think it’s a “typo” somewhere.. but where ?

  • Don’t forget to edit th wp-config.php and then rename it with wp-config.php

    woops I mean edit wp-sample.config.php and rename it with wp-config.php sorry :p

    It’s an upgrade, I have the wp-config file exist from precedent install.

    You still need to replace the wp-config.php even if it an upgrade.

    You need to copy over the necessary information from your 0.72 wp-config.php file and enter it into your 1.o wp-config.php file.
    The 1.o file is significantly different from the 0.72 file. Copy over the MySQL settings like Cinila suggested and you may solve your troubles. Be sure to post back if you have more issues.
    Myself, I totally wiped every folder and file from my 0.72 install, then uploaded the 1.o files, and then ran the upgrade script. I found that leaving my original files around caused me nothing but problems.

    Thank for all guys !
    I thinked that I have’nt to do this because it was only an upgrade from a worling 1.0 install to a CVS snapshot for “debbuging” purpose.
    I will try agan and tell you ??
