Problem removing multisite

  • I followed the instructions here to disable a multisite, and it worked fine.

    Except that now I’m trying to replace the site I deleted with another WP installation in another folder by changing the site address in Settings to where the deleted site was. But now, when I try to go to that new site (in the old subdomain location) I get the main site’s home page instead of the correct one.

    Subdomain: https://ecourse.engaging-students.org

    I’m hoping it’s just an htaccess problem. I saved permalinks in both wp installations, but that made no difference. I don’t know what the original code for htaccess is supposed to be, so I can’t manually replace it.

    Update: I guess it’s a subdomain problem, not htaccess. Never mind! :-p
