WPtouch 1.9.42 broken – mobile switch & drop down menu

We’ll investigate these issues, thanks. Have you tried clearing your caches? It might be that it’s holding on to old CSS/JS files.

I clean my cache and it’s the same problem.
My smartphone has android ICS 4.0.3.
But I found the solution !

I checked in the options of WPtouch the following option:
Enable the Restricted Mode WPtouch
Now the on / off button on my smartphone is ok !

@bravenewcode : Thanks for the suggestion to clear the cache. That worked on the stock Android 2.2.2 browser. The “Menu” button now correctly appears and the “Mobile Theme” button at the bottom now correctly switches to regular theme display. However, after switching to regular display, the Mobile Theme switch box becomes a huge white box that covers up about half of the site, centered on the page. There’s no way to remove it without switching back to the mobile theme. I enabled “WPtouch Restricted Mode”, but that didn’t help. Suggestions?

The huge white box is theme related, because it doesn’t render that way with a different theme. Will have to investigate.

Are you still having this issue in 1.9.5? Let us know if you are, though it should be resolved there. Thanks.

i cant upgrade from 1.9.42 to 1.9.5
wordpress tells me my plugin is up-to-date.

The huge white box is not appearing in 1.9.5 (which should really be version 1.9.50, right?).

I’m having problem too, with android 4.1.1 my wp load as the url posted above, no menu bar and css while everything is fine with android 2.2.3 and ios
