    WordPress was working fine until one of my help decided to upgrade one of my wp multisite installs from the softaculous control panel.
    Back from vacation I came back and thought I would check plug ins that needed to be installed. What I found is I have no access to the network admin portion of the install. Another blog in the multiuser setup is now the administrator yet has no access to any of the network functions.

    from the softaculous control panel.

    Magic words, ain’t they?

    Alright, here’s the deal. Kick that ‘helper’ hard, until they swear never to use a control panel to upgrade WordPress ever again. Okay? Beat it into them. Because that is one of the worst things to do. Ever. WordPress can upgrade itself! Use it!

    Now that preventative medicine has been applied for next time, lets fix it.

    You need to get into the database, and look for the table wp_sitemeta

    In that table is a field for site_admins

    That field should read: a:1:{i:0;s:7:"Ipstenu";}

    Yours, if your ID is docputer, would be a:1:{i:0;s:8:"docputer";}

    The s:NUMBER changes with character length of your ID, and your ID is case senstivive.

    Add yourself back in. Then you can add in everyone else via the normal method.

    Thanks, that took care of it.
