• Hi,

My log shows several instances for a particular .gif file was not found. The following is the path where it was looking for it:
    /wp-content/plugins/wptouch/themes/core/core-images/pinstripes-classic.gif

I have the latest version of WPTouch. I looked for this file on my server and sure enough it is not there. The path: /wp-content/plugins/wptouch/themes/core/core-images is there but not the .gif.

Please let me know what I can do to fix this.

    Thanks,
    Dianne

OK. Do you have any idea when the next update will be released?

    Thanks,
    Dianne

Actually, looking at the code and for the file, we see it there. Maybe re-install? It’s included in the repository package.

I did some more looking around and found the pinstripes-classic.gif in
    /wptouch/themes/core/core-images/backgrounds/ folder.

But my log shows that it is looking for the pinstripes-classic.gif in /wptouch/themes/core/core-images/ folder.

NOTICE THAT THE “BACKGROUNDS” FOLDER IS NOT PART OF THE PATH.

    great thanks : )

Does that mean you still consider this a problem on your side?

    Thanks.

This should be fixed in WPtouch 1.9.5, the images are there and the paths point to the right location. Let us know if you have other questions.

    You’re welcome ??

I did not have WPTouch 1.9.5 installed. Once I did I see that the images are now where I expect. So you can now consider this question closed.

I have another question though. The WPTouch plugin did not show that the update to 1.9.5 was available for my website. I had to install it manually. Shouldn’t WP have notified me that the update was available when I logged into my Admin area? It does this for other plugins. Would this be a WordPress problem or a problem on your side?

    Thanks,
    Dianne
