List categories in byline by category ID instead of alpha order

I want to display the post’s category THEN sub-category in the byline. But WP just shows all categories of the post, in ALPHA order, instead.

So if my post is in the category “Software” & sub-category “Mac,” it will say “Posted in Mac, Software” because that’s the proper ALPHA order. I’d like it to read “Posted in Software, Mac” to follow the Category > Sub-Category logic.

I’ve tried this, but it’s not working:
